• Starting the Game
  • Press the play button in the bottom center of the welcome screen to bring up the game tutorial.
    • There are 3 tutorial screens.
    • After scrolling through the tutorial screens you visit the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has buttons for game developer information and playing in full screen mode.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for controlling game sound and adjusting game language between English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Russian.

    • Use the left and right arrow keys to move left and right.
    • Press the spacebar to jump.

      • The goal of this game is to grab all the keys on each level and then go through the door or unlock the mouse cage at the end of each level before the timer runs out.
    • One hit
      • In this game you die if you run out of time, fall off platform, hit spikes, or run into the sides of enemies.
        • Gray and orange cats walk side to side while staying on a particular platform.
        • White cats fly around the level.
      • The game offers unlimited continues, but if you die on a level you do not score any points for your progress on that level & must restart at the beginning of that level.
    • Power ups
      • Drink the green potion to become invincible.
        • The potion first appears in level 4.
        • You can run through the cats when the potion is activated.
      • Ride the blue airplane to fly around the level.
        • The plane first appears in level 6.
        • You can hit white cats from their top while flying in the plane, but can not run into their side.
  • Levels
    • This game has 12 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.
    • Each level has a unique board layout & level timer.
  • Scoring
    • Collect coins, defeat enemies, and finish the levels quickly to increase your level scores.
      • Coins are worth 1 point each.
      • You score points for destroying enemies. Gray cats are 2 points, orange cats are 4 points, and white cats are 8 points.
      • You score a point for each 5 second increment left on the clock when a level is beat.
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
  • Play tips
    • This game has one hit deaths. One of the biggest frustrations is jumping and bumping your head into a platform, causing your fall to mistime and have you fall off platform, hit spikes, or run into the side of a cat.
    • You do not have to collect all the coins to beat a level, but if you are trying to maximize your game score you generally should collect all the coins as each coin is worth the equivalent points as 5 seconds.
