• Starting the Game
  • Press the white and black play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has buttons to control game sound, control game music, see developer credits, and erase game progress.

    • Press the left arrow key to move left.
    • Press the right arrow key to move right.
    • Press the up arrow key to walk up a wall.
    • Press the down arrow key to walk down a wall.
    • Press the J key to rotate gravity 90 degrees clockwise.
    • Press the L key to rotate gravity 90 degrees counterclockwise.

      • The lower left corner of the screen has a direction pad for moving the guy around the level.

  • Basics
    • This is a simple pixel platformer which includes gravity control as one of its core features. In this game you can not jump, but rather must change the direction of gravity to do the equivalent of jumping.
    • Move around the level to make you way to the exit.
    • Avoid running into spikes.
    • Change the orientation of gravity as needed to make it to the exit door.
    • As you progress through the game some stages have blocks on them which also move according to the direction of gravity.
      • Be sure you quickly move out of the way when changing direction to cause the block to fall toward you, or walk far away from it off the start so that you do not have to move very far to avoid it.

    • This game has 20 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win by making it safely to an exit door.
      • You lose if you run into spikes or get crushed by a block.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Quite often the game relies upon changing the direction of gravity twice in a row rapidly to effectively reverse the direction of gravity.
      • When changing directions twice you will still drift a bit orthogonally on the journey between the first and second direction change.
      • Some jumps may make more sense doing clockwise while others make more sense to do counterclockwise to ensure the drift works for you rather than against you.
      • You can use the arrow keys to move to the side (or up or down) while flying through the air.
    • Early in the game it can make sense to walk a lot on the floors and walls, though as you progress to near the end of the game it makes sense to simply rotate gravity to make most of your moves.
      • A stage like number 16 can be completed in a second by flying rather than walking.
      • Levels like 19 require you to repeatedly fly and change direction without touching the walls and floors as all the walls and floors in the level (other than the one you start on & the one with the exit door) have spikes running across them.
    • If you are not playing for a speed run it makes sense to move quickly where needed and then pause in between the major moves in safe areas so you can get the hard moves well aligned before performing them.
