• Starting the Game
  • Wait for the game to load, then select the play button to load the welcome screen.
  • Select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to begin.
  • On the bottom left corner of the welcome screen are the following:
    • The enlarge button lets you switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • On the bottom right corner are the following?:
    • The music button turns the game’s background music effects on or off.
    • The speaker button does likewise with the game’s audio effects.
  • Most of these controls can be accessed in-game via the pause menu.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Santa automatically moves forward.
    • Attack the approaching enemies (snowmen, evil elves, mutant reindeer, etc.) in one of two ways:
      • Hit them with the sack. This will cause you to stop walking.
      • Fire coal at them. This is a ranged move that you can do while walking.
    • Alternately, you can avoid your foes by jumping over them.
    • Collect as many gifts as you can.
  • Lives
    • You start the game with 3 lives. These are represented by Santa heads on the top left corner.
    • Each time an enemy touches you, you lose a life.
    • The game ends when you lose all your lives.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points by collecting gifts. Each gift is worth 5 points.
    • Each time you collect gifts, there is a short delay before they manifest on your scoreboard.
• Hints
  • Strategically, it makes better sense to just constantly shoot coal at your enemies than to jump or hit them with the sack.
  • It’s also better strategy to collect low-lying gifts than risk getting attacked by jumping.
